Buy and Sell Records, CDs, Tapes and Trinkets at WOBC’s Annual Block Party!

 

block10 On Saturday April 27th from 1-4pm WOBC is hosting our annual block party in Park Street Park! (Potential rain date Sunday April 28th)

This year we’d like to host a record sale and flea market and we’re calling all music enthusiasts and eccentric collectors to help us. We need vendors! If interested, contact outreach@wobc.org.

The block party will also feature a 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament, four-square, performances and DJ sets by local artists, food trucks, and an open chess tournament. To register as a basketball team, just email outreach@wobc.org.

The block party is free and open to everyone so please do come out for a day of family fun in support of your local radio station.

PS – don’t forget to register yourself and two buds as a bball team.

3rd Annual WOBC Block Party this Saturday

Come on out to the 3rd Annual WOBC Block Party this Saturday, the 28th!

Due to bad weather, the Block Party has moved inside! Come by the WOBC station, in Wilder Hall at 135 West Lorain street, room 319!

There is popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, and a respite from the cold, rainy weather!

Enjoy music from Sugar Ray Ballard, Knomadik, DJ Panic, and more….

THIS SATURDAY APRIL 24th: WOBC's 1st ANNUAL BLOCK PARTY

WOBC COMMUNITY RADIO BLOCK PARTY

This Saturday, April 24th, WOBC will be hosting the 1st Annual Block Party featuring DJ’s spinning live from Park St. Park (across from Firelands). There will be Food vendors, a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Community Organizations, Bingo, Volleyball, Slip n Slide, Dancing, BBQ, Bike-Repair, and Mask-Making.

So come on out this Saturday, from 2-6 PM, and bring some canned food for our food drive too!

DJ’s Mr. P and Baby Blue (It’s About Time), Meeko Israel (World Famous Meeko Show), James Dietz (Don’t Sleep….too late) and others will be simulcasting from the park live on WOBC.
